Space to Grow

Back when we started to develop the garden, my husband made these amazing raised beds. They were perfect for growing vegetables. However over the years my flower collection grew and needed a home whilst the kids were still young. You can see how the flowers have established themselves over the years.

This summer everything grew so well, it was amazing to see the flowers all coming together.

This year I have been working on created a new flower bed, it has taken a long time to take the turf up, dig over the soil and bring in 2 tonnes of top soil to help improve the condition. I have been planting over the year dipping in and out, and the plants are beginning to fill out. Look out for my next post to see the new part in progress!
