Thoughtful Gift Guide
It’s been a super hard start to the year, with many of us not being able to see loved ones over Christmas and those catch ups with friends. I don’t know about you but I am still thinking of my friends and family and still looking for gifts to send that say thinking of you. Here are some of my top favourites to send to your loved ones.
One of my favourite things to do at the moment is grab a hot cup of tea and have a bit of me time. I like to wander down the garden with my lovely mug to keep me warm, ponder what is growing in the garden and muse over the spring bulbs that are just pushing through the earth.
Jinny Ngui Design makes these beautiful china mugs with typography available in either Mum and Dad for the gift set and includes a choice of tea and a teabag tidy too! I also own one of these gorgeous mugs and mine is about 4 years old or so washes well in the dishwasher.
I know that my mum would love one of these.
Whilst I’m down the garden what could be better than bring up some freshly cut flowers or dried seed heads and creating a homely display. Louise Condon creates these amazing vases that are printed with real flowers and decorated with oxides to enhance the wonderful detail. The texture and detail on these are cross between a brass rubbing and an x-ray of your favourite flower. Each one is different as Louise uses different plants for each vase.
I know my gardening friends would love one of these and I just love the inky blue. The collection that is available will vary from month to month depending on the flowers and plants that are growing.

When I think of my friends that I can’t go and see, I also think of forget me not flowers. These flowers have such a powerful meaning and in the Victorian times would mean true love and today it is used as a symbol of good memories and memories that you don’t want to forget. These pretty silver necklaces have been extremely popular, and many customers send these with lovely messages to their friends.
These forget me nots have been grown and dried in my garden which means they have a beautiful intense blue colour before they are encased inside the glass necklace, preserving them as a perfect memory or reminder to send to someone you miss.
I personally love how small and delicate these look and can be worn everyday easily with a plain or pattern top. These pretty sterling silver forget me not necklaces are perfect for my friends that just live too far away to see them in person.
How often did you want the post to be yours when you were a kid? It was always your parents but just think how fun it would be to receive these dinosaur colouring books. I know that my nieces and nephews would love these. Dinosaurs doing stuff is full of dinosaur-based goodies and I dare you not to get lost on the website playing find the dinosaur and spot the difference in between popping stickers and these fun colouring books in your basket.
I must admit that I also have a couple of sparkly dinosaur stickers of my own.
At the moment my sister and her partner love going walking and it is particularly cold where she lives. Now we all seem to be out walking and exploring our area more and more. It is a nice opportunity to wear something special and make yourself feel better. These cosy knitted set are made from lovely soft lambs wool with on tread leopard print would be a great for her. I love that this gift set which comes with a cowl, wrist warmers and headband so thoughtful collection for an outdoor walk.
I have one of the infinity scarves made from the same lambs wool which is super soft and washes really nicely.
